Jeffrey Dean Jones, 58, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at his home. Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 21, 2015 at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. A visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Jones of Cedar Rapids; children, Taylor Jones of Cedar Rapids, Brandy (Jason) Murphey of Cedar Rapids, Jim Wilson of Cedar Rapids; five grandchildren; siblings, Jesse (Jeanne) Jones of Cedar Rapids, Diane (Kenny) Mann of Moore, OK, Debbie (Rob) Havlicek of Cedar Rapids; step-mother, Mary Jones of Cedar Rapids; and step-siblings, Lynn Mullin of Cedar Rapids, Scott Mullin of Cedar Rapids, Mark Mullin of Cedar Rapids.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Brad McDowell;
Jeffrey was born October 2, 1956, the son of William and June Jones in Cedar Rapids. On July 3, 1993, he married Mary Dvorak. Jeffrey worked as a maintenance supervisor for J.B. Hunt Transport Inc. for fourteen years. He was a loving father, step-father and grandfather, who loved spending time with his family and friends. And his beloved pets; He will be greatly missed by all.
