BIG D: You are irreplaceable!!! A true superbuddy whom will be sorely missed. Our poker group will never be the same without your wittiness and keen ability. We also had fabulous times on softball and basketball teams. But, above all, it was your gifts as a human being which will be missed most. A super hard worker, your generosity towards others, and your true friendship. Looking forward to the day when I"ll see you in heaven with the Captain. Forever, Bubba

Craig & Julie, Sincere sympathy to you both in the loss of Dan . I am a voice from way back in your past, but reading all of these condolences makes me feel like I just payed a visit to the farm. It is most obvious that this apple fell very close to the tree. May God bless & comfort you. Your family will always be remembered for having warm, generous hearts along with a sincere willingness to serve others.....and fun to be with.

Condolances to the Stallman family and friends. A very special friend and great worker. We will miss Danny.

Danno, You were a true inspiration to me in all that you did for me and my family. Whether it was talking and bonding with my Grandma to always showing up at the doorstep with something good to eat (Watermelons) to all of the good memories of the Gordy Open and golfing in itself plus, being an avid Hawkeye fan, I just want you to know I enjoyed each and every part of it. I'm going to miss you Danny, but now that you are in a good place, and as your pal Gordy who is up there with you would say "In Heaven, there is no beer. That's why we drink it here! So here's a Hoist'em to you and I love you. So now in what may be the final time, but certainly not the last, Goodbye my friend, I'll miss you.

I have never imagined I'd have the honor of meeting someone as genuine and kind as Danny. The work stories and memories of times shared that were relayed to me by my husband, Matt, of his time spent with Dan were comical at times and extremely heartfelt always. I was lucky enough to finally meet the man behind the legendary memoirs, and I can honestly say.... there was not an exaggerated statement. Dan was a hard worker, a loyal friend, and a loving man. There aren't enough words to describe the deep loss that is felt right now, nor the incredible happiness brought on by Dan touching our lives. Although all I have, personally, was brought to me through a wonderful winter night visit my husband and I had with Danny. I hold all the great memories stored and relayed to me by a man who loved and admired Danny with all his heart. Until we meet again.... you and your family will forever be in our hearts and prayers. Tanja and Matt Tirado

I am very sorry to hear the passing of my good friend "Dan-O" I just talked to him last week planning our annual trip to Madison. He was fired up about one last trip to MAD town. He was a great friend ,golf buddy and around good guy stopping by to drop off something from the garden. He talked to my mother when she was alive about all the relations around Fairfax and she enjoyed the visit.. Dan and our family were close and Kyler always had fun with him riding in the cart on the golf course. Unfortunately we will be out of town this weekend but our hearts and prayers will be with him. I can't believe since our last trip to Madison we have lost 2 of the 4 great Hawks. Sincerely, Tim, Barb and Kyler Soukup

My family and I extend our condolences on Danny's passing. Danny will be greatly missed as a fellow laborer, neighbor, and friend. He was a modest, hardworking, and helpful man. May the heavens rejoice in his home coming. I'm going to miss you friend. Danny Hemminger & family

Gone too soon, gone too soon! 7:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, playing baseball together almost 30 years ago and always a warm smile to share across all those years. I am not in town for either the visitation or the funeral, much to my regret. May all the angels, Saints, holy men and holy women welcome Danny into God's eternal grace. He might bring a little wine with him, the parish kind. Goodbye friend. I hope that the family and friends who gather to grieve can also find celebration in a life of considerate service to others.

We are so sorry to hear of the passing of (Danner) as we called him. He will be missed. He would stop by after church once in awhile and visit. He was a kind soul, and one of a kind, our thoughts and prayers are with all the family .

My condolences on Danny's passing. He was one of the most helpful, generous and fun loving people I've had the pleasure of calling a friend. He was truly one of a kind and will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this tough time.
