Dear Mimi and Family,
We share our deepest sorrow when we received the sad news about Dr. Morgan. He was like a father figure to us. We would not have been where we are without Dr. Morgan's guidance and support when we were young and naive in Iowa City. We will miss his sharp mindset, intelligence and his rich life experience that he shared with us through annual greeting letters. It's comforting to know that he passed away peacefully without any sufferings and lingering illness. Please make peace with yourself.

Mimi, I was sorry to hear of Don's recent death. He was a quiet man in whom you could sense a real depth and sensitivity. I remember you both fondly from the days when we worked together at Hardin Library. It seems a long time ago! I hope you and the children are doing well, and that your good memories of Don will help you through this difficult time. David
