Douglas L. Daugherty, 47 of Cedar Rapids passed away Thursday September 18, 2014 at Mercy Medical Center. Services at 11:00 AM on Thursday at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Entombment at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 4 to 8 PM on Wednesday.
Survivors include a son Immanuel, his mother and step-father Margaret and Rick Dvorak; three brothers, Bradley and Mike Daugherty, and Denio (Todd) Clough; step-bother T.J. Dvorak; and three step-sisters Carrie Dvorak Kronfeld, Janie Dvorak Elliott and Molly Huinker. He is also survived by an uncle Bob (Marsha) Rowe. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Agnes Rowe and an aunt Betty (Larry) Weitenhgen.
Doug was born on October 23, 1967 in Iowa City. He worked at C.B.C for several years and was a member of the Open Bible Church. He enjoyed drawing, computers, crafts, his Cadillac and especially the time spent with his beloved family and many friends. His memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
