I last spoke with Allen at the grocery store when he was 86 years old. He said he felt like he was 43 and was there picking up prescriptions which he volunteered to deliver to "old people". He called me at work the day Katy passed away just to let me know – he was so calm and at peace, his faith remarkably strong even at that time. It has been 47 years since we were next-door-neighbors but he made a lasting impression on me and I will always remember him fondly.

Having a family strong in Faith as ours, was built by our grandparents, parents and extended families. Uncle Allen and Aunt Katy were a big part of my finding Jesus as my Savior. We lived in Marion and spent quality time with the family, in worship and in play. On a cool day in the Fall, Uncle Allen and I walked into a creek outside of Marion and I was washed clean of my sins. I will never forget how cold the water was when I first walked in, but didn't feel anything but warmth in my heart when we walked out. I've had ups and downs over the years, but have always found my way back to the Lord. Our thoughts and prayers are with my cousins and their families, their loss is felt by many who knew Allen

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I have wonderful memories of staying at Uncle Allen and Aunt Katy's house as a child.

Our condolences go out to the Bond family. I had the privilege of knowing Allen since about 1987. We used to go over to his house and buy bibles from him. He would NEVER mark up the price, not even a penny from his cost. Allen so loved Jesus his Lord and Savior, that he wanted to help his brothers and sisters anyway he could. I also, later in life, went to men's prayer time with him from week to week. Sometimes at my home at 6am it would be just Allen and I sitting at the feet of Jesus and praying first and then fellowshipping. I always enjoyed those moments with him. He was always so full of the Holy Spirit and truly excited to see Christ moving in other peoples lives. He truly had a contagious love of Jesus. Our loss is heavens gain........Farewell brother until we meet again......

Please accept my condolences for Uncle Allen's passing. I did not hear about this until tonight; however, my PRAYERS go out to my extended family. Great Uncle Allen was a blessed soul and will be truly missed. Another SAINT has gone to worship our Lord, God in Heaven. Be blessed to know that Uncle Allen's love for the LORD has sent him home! Even though this is a time of sorrow, it is also a time to REJOICE for we know that God has again received into His household another of His own.

My thoughts and prayers are with all the extended Bond family. Allen was a very interesting man, a friend to anyone he met, and full of love and pride for his family. I vividly remember our visits to Allen and Katy as a child, staying in the basement on cots, and listening to stories. He would still do handstands at that point! I also remember Bond reunions out at the farm, and his musical performances with family members. My Dad has lots of stories about Allen and Katy from when he worked doing drywall as a young man.

Thinking of you, Karen & family. Allen was a great inspiration to us through the years and always enjoyed his visits to Nortonville. He was a true man of God and lived his beliefs to the fullest. God Bless you and your family. We will all miss him.

Karen and Family, I wish I could have known your father. He sounds like a wise man who left quite a legacy of love behind. I pray you will find comfort as you grieve your loved one. May the memories you shared bring you joy and peace til you meet again.

I met Allen at River of Life Ministries. He always had a gleam in his eyes and a grin on his face . He was always thinking and had quite a way with words. He was a humble, faithful servant, and his life was a testimony of the love he had for his Lord. I am blessed to have known him. My thoughts and prayers go out to all his loved ones. I know he will be greatly missed by all.

I have known Allen since I was about 14 and I so enjoyed his sense of humor, his puns and his sense of wanting everyone to know the Lord. He cared about people and wanted them to know the Lord. He and Katie were a big influence in my life and even though I've moved 2000 miles away, I will still miss him.

My deepest sympathy to Karen and the family. Allen left an imprint on me as one of Christ's true Warriors. He was bold with his witness, but did it with humor and love. He was deeply concerned where people ended up after they died and didn't mince any words to help explain that. He truly left a legacy to follow. (Isaiah 61:1-3)

My deepest sympathies to Allen's family and friends. I met Allen in 1987-1988 when I began attending Victory Church in Marion. I always thought highly of him while attending there. Unfortunately, he and I lost touch with each other after that, but I never forgot him. I will never forget the time he said that "IF any man thinketh he knoweth anything, then he does not know it as he ought to know it". Of course, he was referring to a spirit of humility, and if nothing else Allen possessed that for sure. RIP, Allen, and enter into your reward which you have earned. God Bless Allen's family now and always.. Amen.

I met Allen in July of 1979, He had a true spirit of God. I don't believe he knew a stranger. I felt he accepted me into his family soon after I met him. He knew if Rick was around I was somewhere near. I remember he always made a point to come talk to me while I was around. He was a good man. Helped several people and never wanted to be acknowledged for it. God let him stay on this earth a long time, but is now saying, well done good and faithful servant. Allen you will be missed by many!

Sorry to hear of the passing of Allen but celebrating his going home. Such a humble, mighty man of God. I'll always remember Allen praying for people with headaches and his prayers being answered. So many good memories of Allen. He touched the lives of many!

"ForI am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing." II Timothy 4:6-8

Allen Bond is & always will be one of my Hero's of the Faith! I have known this man since 1989, and he has consistently walked in the highest integrity! His true humility, his faithful & powerful intercession for fellow brothers & sisters, and his uncountable acts of service to the body of Christ are just a small part of who Allen Bond is. A quiet, but powerful man of great authority, patience, wisdom, and above all, GREAT LOVE; Allen is in DEED a true example of Christlikeness. In the natural, Allen was a man of small stature. But in a dream many years ago, God showed me that in the spirit realm, Allen was a supernatural huge muscle man and that he was carrying large support pillars & using them to help build an ARK as a place of safety in the Last Days. I am so blessed to have known Allen Bond. I know Allen is greatly awed & humbled by the grand Welcome Home Celebration he is experiencing in the glorious Heavenly Realms! Knowing Allen, he is still prostrate at his beloved Savior's feet worshipping & kissing the feet of the one he so faithfully loved & served. I am so happy for him.
