LouAnn Phillips Martucci, 57, of Glendale, Arizona died Wednesday July 23, 2014 at St. Lukes Hospital after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Funeral services at 11:00  AM on Tuesday at St. Pius X Catholic Church where friends may call after 10:00 AM on Tuesday. Entombment at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include two daughters, Amber (Brad) Holub of Springville and Britni Phillips of Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania; a son Chase Kinney of New York, New York and her mother Betty Lou Phillips of Cedar Rapids. She is also survived by two grandchildren Dylan and Danielle Holub. She was preceded in death by her father and a grandson Dalton Holub.

LouAnn was born on April 20, 1957 in Cedar Rapids the daughter of John and Betty McCracken Phillips. She graduated from Washington High School in 1975. LouAnn married Dan Kinney on December 27, 1980 in Cedar Rapids. They were later divorced. She relocated to Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania and most recently to Glendale, Arizona.

LouAnn attended Kirkwood Community College for fashion design and Bauder Fashion College in Arlington, Texas. She made a career change and earned her wings with American Airlines in 1991. LouAnn was a life affirming specialist for the Prolife Pregnancy Center. She also was a motivational speaker who wrote and published “Speak Life to Me” 

She was a wonderful mother, daughter and grammy whose memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her. LouAnn had a strong passion for natural pathic medicine which came from her belief to have life on her terms.  Memorial donations may be directed to her family or to Pathways Pregnancy Center, 311 Market Street, Kingston, Pennsylvania 18704.
