Marie was such a special lady! Her hospitality, wisdom, and faith were things to be admired. I loved her stories and sense of humor and will greatly miss her. I'm sorry that I couldn't be with you all as you said your goodbyes, but please know you've been in my thoughts and prayers. May you find comfort and strength in the knowledge that love is stronger than death, and that Jesus, whom Marie so deeply loved, is with you.

To all my cousins, I'm thinking of you now. Aunt Marie was kind, gracious, and beautiful inside and out. She had a quiet commanding presence when she entered a room. On my 4th birthday my parents were not able to be with me so she gave me a birthday party, not wanting me to go without. That's the kind caring woman I will always remember.

We were sorry to hear about Marie's passing this week. She was always so gracious whenever we visited her and my Dad. She was great with our children, and they thought she was a wonderful Grandmother! We thought of her often these past few years since Dad's passing.
