To my sister . Life will never be the same with out you . You taught me lots . You were always there when needed .We was together always when bill was away . we had our familes and life lead us down different path ways . when our time was again because of things god had planned we were together again as if there was never any years in between . We spent so much time tying to solve world problems everyday . Never did get any solved but we had many good laughs . There at the end we knew each other so well that when one was thinking something the other one finished what we were thinking . It was like two minds were one . we started thinking what the other one was . scary sometimes . we had lots of chats about our siblings and very proud of our kids and grands let alone our husband s . we made it through the days by just being there and watching each others backs . people will never know how close we were . you was always there for any one . and one heck of a great nurse . even though you never really were a real nurse like many thought.N ow you with Bill and it is like I have lost him all over again . I hope you a blissful journey in heaven and will see you when god decides it is time to fill my garden spot . you,ll always be in my thoughts and heart . love you sis . Karen

Abby and Amy, I am sorry that we can not be there to offer our love, support and respect for Aunt Linda's family and friends. But I am most thankful that I was able to be there just in time; to share in her final moments last Friday night with you... From the rest of the Murfield Family, you are in our prayers and thoughts today from across the miles. Your cousin from Atlanta. Love, Dean Murfield

Amy and Abbey, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Aunt Linda. She was an amazing woman and I will never forget that contagious smile, it goes on for days and will be missed by many. Your mother had and amazing heart and I have so many memories of her and Uncle Bill with Aunt Dickie and Aunt Elaine. She welcomed us as family she will always be considered that in my book. I know she is up in heaven with the angels and having one hell of a time with Bill and everyone else. My thoughts and Prayers to you and your whole family during this time.

Hamer Family--So sorry to hear about Linda's passing, we attended Jefferson HS together and graduated in 1961. We weren't close but we were friends, I remember her great smile! My thoughts are prayers are with you. God Bless.

I am so glad I was able to reconnect and spend some time with Linda before her diagnosis. She was always full of laughter and had a good time as the number of her friends testify! She was a kind and thoughtful person who put others needs ahead of her own. She enjoyed nothing more than talking about her family but also was interested in everyone else's! We will miss her smile and conversation when "us girls" get together and will toast her and think of her for a long time to come. It would be great if you could join us at Odie's on a Tues. or Fri. nite some time!

So sorry to hear about your mom. Our hearts go out to you all. I have wonderful memories of playing with Amy at the Ely farm. It was great to see the loving relationship of Bill and Linda. I loved your mom's laugh and smile. She was an amazing women. She was a great friend and neighbor as I grew up. Your mom and dad would give the shirt off there back to help those in need. Linda will always have a place in our hearts. Praying God's peace and love to your family at this time of loss. Dennis and Shelly Huffer

What a loss for the family and friends! She was a very special girl, loved by many. She was a beloved wife, an exemplary mother, a devoted grandmother, and a wonderful and caring friend. She slipped into these roles effortlessly . No matter what the situation called for Linda was on top of it. God's speed dear heart! Aunt Laura

We are so very sorry for your loss. Dr. Fitzgerald and staff

I can't begin to share all the memories my family and I have of Linda ( and Bill). She was a fun-loving person and we enjoyed all the times we shared with her. Many, many memories from the hours spent in Aunt Dickie and Aunt Elaine's basement. Everyone knew Linda had her own bar stool as her name was on the bottom of it. Taco Tuesday was spent throwing taco wrappers into the empty bag, Friday nights were a tradition! And then add all the 4th of July's we spent in Ely. Golf cart rides in the parade and all the food ( and beverages) that were consumed!!! Oh MY! There is one heck of a party going on up above! The comfort is in knowing that she is having fun with some of the best people I know!! Cheers!

Linda! Will miss you. You were always more of a sister then a in-law. Will always remember the smile you always seemed to have. Tell my brother Bill hi when you get up there. Abby, Amy Sorry for your loss.

So sorry to hear about Linda. I couldn't believe it when I saw it. I have worked many years at St. Luke's and it was always a joy to see her in the hall. She was always a happy person. We used to kid back and forth about retiring. I am so sorry for your loss. In Deepest Sympathy to her whole family.

I am so glad I was with Linda 2 1/2 weeks ago and that she held my hand. That is my warm memory and I am going to keep that forever. I loved having a great time at holidays with Linda. Last Thanksgiving was a great one with a lot of laughs with her. Great times at our weddings, great times in Ely in her and Bill's basement on the 4th of July. I love you Linda, Abby, Amy, and Maddison and Malina....., Tammy and Kids in Kentucky.

So sorry to hear of Linda's passing. She and I used to play together when we were kids! Show was a great lady!
