Memorial
Gregory Richard McMann, 43, passed away suddenly on December 4, 2014. Visitation will be at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home on Sunday, December 7th, at 1:00 pm with funeral celebration beginning at 2:30 pm. Private family burial will be at a later time
He was born October 17, 1971 the son of Richard and Jean (Bader) McMann, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Greg enjoyed living and working in the REM community for over 20 years. He was proceeded in death by his “Pa”, in 2005.
He is survived by his loving mother and three sisters Pamela (Randy) Lindorfer, Carla Gore, and Sheila (Dave) Cronbaugh. He will be deeply missed by his nephews and nieces; Caroline (Nick) Holicky, Dominic (Amanda) Gore, Anthony, Matthew and Nicholas Gore, Matt and Amanda Lindorfer and Noah Cronbaugh and his great nieces, Annmarie and Delaney Holicky.
He is also survived by caring aunts, uncles & cousins and his REM family whom we are so grateful to for all the love and compassion they shared.
His favorite things were watching CHiPs and Emergency, going to McDonalds, Camp Courageous and on outings with his REM friends, spending time with family, enjoying a Coke and, especially, spaghetti.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, a memorial donation be made to Camp Courageous in Monticello, IA.
