Dear Frances, Robert and Barbara, I am touched by the pictures I just looked at. Many memories of wonderful times in your home, when we were children, came flooding back. Richard was always such a sweet boy and always so congenial. The patience that your dear mother showed to each of us was remarkable. I am sorry that I was not able to see you at Cedar Memorial. I am sorry to hear of your loss of Richard.
He was a special person to us all who knew him.
I am the youngest of the Hoffman family that lived across the alley from him. I enjoyed spending time at his house with his family you all became part of our family.
It has been years since I have seen or talked with your family yet think of you all often and know that He is enjoying being with his mom and dad. I would love to be able to see the pictures better, if there is a way please let me know.

Sorry to hear of Richard's passing, thinking of him reminds me of good times in the old neighbor and him and I chasing each other in the alley between our houses. He is in a better place and I am sure he is watching over all of us and enjoying seeing his mom and dad.

My sympathy to Richards family. Two of my children {Jill and Brian} worked in the group home with Richard and he visited my home many times years ago to watch a movie and have a pop - such fun in the good ole days. Today they wouldn't allow that. My prayers are with all of you.
