I didn't know your mom well, but I taught for many years with your dad at Wilson. We both taught LA and much of the time I was across the hall from him. I enjoyed his sense of humor and his friendliness. I didn't know until I read about your mom that Art had died last year. From the date, I'd say we were out of state when his obituary was in the paper. Otherwise, I'd have attended his funeral. I'm sorry to see that they both endured long illnesses but glad to see that they enjoyed their retirement.

My Special Cousins and Family; I loved my Aunt Marguerite very much. I remember walking up that back hill as a kid and my Aunt making me something to drink with a snack. I always admired her spunk and dry wit (Uncle Art's, too), they were quite the duo. She will be so missed and where have all the years gone? We do have a family that does love one another despite the fact that we don't see each other often and we were given this gift of love from our mothers. Aunt Marguerite, Aunt Maxine, and my mom...they went through a lot together in their formative years, were hard workers, and family oriented and they loved us all so much. She is gone but will never be forgotten. Love and prayers to all of you now as you grieve her loss.

Cheryl, Randy, and Linda, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. She had such a spunky personality, but most of all, she was so kind-hearted. I enjoyed hearing her stories about her job at Killian's, her sisters, her children, and her home. I also loved her nicknames for your dad--all love nicknames! Your mom was the Queen of Chinese Checkers, but never showed that she beat you. Take care and God Bless, Jennie

Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for your loss. Our thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time. May the love of those around you help you through the days ahead.

Family: Was very sorry to hear about Marguerite. Enjoyed knowing her while we were growing up. My sympathy to all of the family. Sincerely, Jean "Porter" Simpson (cousin)

My condolences to my co-worker and friend Randy and sisters (and the rest of your family) on the loss of your Mother. My thoughts and prayers are with you. The tribute posted here & in the Gazette was very nice and made me feel that I missed out by not knowing her. Very well written...

Family: We are so sorry to hear of the loss of Marguerite. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Jim & Helen Yeisley

Cheryl, Randy and Linda, My heartfelt condolences on the loss of your wonderful mother. I so enjoyed working with both of your parents and have thought of them often since leaving their care. I will never forget her ornery nature and witty sense of humor (or your father's for that matter). God's blessings to all of you in this time. Tracy Bond, RN (formerly of Home Instead)
