To the Meier family-We send you our prayers and condolences on the loss of Charlie! He was an awesome man, and I had the pleasure of working with him many years ago. He made each work day brighter and brought many laughs. He will always be remembered by myself and many others.

So sorry to hear about Charlie. He was a talented baseball player and was fun to play baseball with him. He was a funny guy and kept all of the team loose in the most tense situations. Unfortunately we are in South Carolina on vacation and unable to attend any of the services. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Meier family.

Charlie you were one in a million .....hardworking ,talented, charismatic and always in need of a good kick in the ass for whatever reason you chose to test the fences... and defy the odds. Always the champion of the customer and trainer of the up and comers. you were a damn good sales manager even if your best move was to sell with one foot on the bumper...i.e. heart to heart.....it worked well. I will always miss calling you with this weeks car buys .....you wanted them all....and sold anything you could...You will be Missed and Never Forgotten.... Rest In Peace Charlie......and Gods Peace to the Family

To the Meier families: My heart hurts for all of you. I can only offer up prayers and my love and respect from a distance over the loss of your beloved Charles, my old teammate and good buddy. Mrs. Meier (Doreen), you are one of those special people that we meet in our lifetime, if we're so blessed. I can only hope that your boys and theirs, and your spirituality and unrelenting faith in God, can help ease the pain from this latest loss. You know better than all of Charles' infectious smile and laugh, his big heart and zest for life and entertainment, and how much he thoroughly enjoyed simply hanging out with family and friends. I hope you can find comfort in the fact we were privileged to know him, and that he is now in the greatest place of all, with his Dad and brother and the others who have gone on before him. RIP, Charlie. Hope you took your glove and a ball cap with you, as Heaven can always use another good shortstop.

Our deepest condolences to Charlie's family and loved ones. Charlie was always a good teammate. May you find comfort in the grace and peace of Jesus Christ, especially during this difficult time. 1 Peter 5:7 -"Cast all your cares upon him, for he cares for you."

Dear Doreen, My heart aches for you. I am so sorry about the loss of your son, Charles. My prayers are with you. I extend my condolences to you and your family. Sincerely, Sharon Aukerman

To the Meier family, Charlie was a great friend in high school and for some years after. Although we lost touch I always considered him my friend. Iast summer we were able to reconnect along with many of our classmates at our 35 year reunion. It was like 35 years had stood still, Charlie was the same person he was. That is a testment to the type of spirt he was. This is one great Warrior that we will all miss.

Janet, Chad, Michelle, Matt and all family members, "Good time Charlie" was a key part of my success. We tested each other often, but got the job done~~day after day, month after month, year after year. He was one of my favorites. Baseball or work, he was a great teammate. Our thoughts are with the entire Meier Family. Jim & Gail Miller

Doreen and family, our thoughts and prayers are with you. Now there is another angel in heaven overlooking your family.

Daddy, Thank you for teaching me what it means to love unconditionally. How did I luck out and have the coolest dad in the world? I cannot believe a week has gone by- a week is a long time for a daddy's girl. My heart is heavy, but the subtle hints lets me know you're with me wherever I go. I promise to work hard and bring light to others, as you did each day. Please give me strength to endure this. I can still hear your laugh and will cherish the memories I have. Keep everyone laughing until I get there. Love you now and forever. -Michelle Renee <3
