I would like to offer my sympathies to the family. Arne was an old friend of 50 years. He and I worked together on many projects. When we had golf outings he always attended but never played golf. He was always a cheerful bustander. After I retired we use to meet from time to time at the Mt Vernon Rd Hy-Vee. We would always remunice about the old days. I was glad that he finally decided to return to Estonia to see how things had changed over the years. He will always remembered but not forgotten. Thank You Ernest A. Tippie

Matt, You and your fsamily are in our thoughts and prayers. Your dad is one of those "special" people who willingly shared his knowledge and frienship with Dianne and me during the early years of our careers at Lithonia Lighting. May Arne rest in Peace, Chuck and Dianne Garrett

Tom has many story telling memories of Arnie from all the times they swapped "stories". It was a pleasure to have known Aary and Arne; they were both wonderful people and their presence on this earth will be missed. Our sympathy to their family.

Arne was such a special person. He and my father, Leo Plotz, had a relationship that delighted me even as a child. It was constant teasing and laughter - a great model for me. Of course, I suspect they were both a bit hard-headed in business but managed to keep their friendship strong. Arne was kind enough to treat me as an adult my nickname was 'Gertrude' and I in turn called him 'Gus'. As I grew older he never failed to greet me as 'Gertrude' - and I would be remiss today if I didn't say "Good by Gus"....

Although Arne has passed, fond memories of him live on with those of us who had the pleasure of knowing him. If not for Arne's wit and wisdom and flirtatiousness, the world would have been a different place. Sincere condolences from Lena Gilbert and Family

We met Arne in the 1940' when he came to Iowa and went to work at Stanleys. We will remember the many, many times we have been together since then. Our thoughts are with Matt & Kurt and their families.
