Patricia J. "Pat" Visek, 70, of 608 Blue Heron Ct. NE, died Sunday, February20, 2005, in St. Luke's Hospital of Lung Cancer. Services at 1 PM Thursday in Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Rev. Dave Higdon will officiate. Burial in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home from 4 to 7 PM on Wednesday and at the chapel after 12:30 PM on Thursday.
Survivors include her husband Milo "Mike", four sons Michael and wife Tina of Cedar Rapids, Philip of Greenwood, Indiana, Jeffrey and wife Lisa of Central City, and Christopher and wife Robin of Cedar Rapids, and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Robert Burns.
Patricia was born April 15, 1934 in Cedar Rapids the daughter of Charles and Faye Anthony. She graduated from Wilson School in 1952. She married Mike Visek on July 25, 1953 in Cedar Rapids.
Pat was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved crafts, working crossword puzzles, and especially enjoyed working in her flower garden.
