Maxine P. Irvin, 84, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away August 23, 2004, in Noblesville, Indiana. She was born April 13, 1920 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Mrs. Irvin was a member of Central Park Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn H. Irvin, her mother, Eva Stoll, her father, Raymond Stoll, her brothers, Raymond Stoll Jr., and Norman Stoll, and a sister, Esther Peterson.
She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Wagner and son-in-law Phil Wagner, both of Noblesville, Indiana, four sisters, Arlene Shields of Stockton, California, Helen Hamer of Mission, Texas, Marion Umbdenstock of Vinton, and Marjorie Bowers of Cedar Rapids, two grandchildren, Brent Wagner of Camby, Indiana, and Kimberly Webster of Mooresville, Indiana, and three great-grandchildren.
Services for Maxine will be at 1 PM Friday in Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Burial in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home from 5 to 8 PM on Thursday and at the chapel after 12:30 PM on Friday.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
