Geraldine ''Geri'' M. Yock
My heart goes out to Geri's family for their loss. Geri was a warm and caring person. I worked with Geri at the Kirkwood Bookstore in the 70's. I remember her as always smiling and happy. She was a mother and a friend to many students lucky enough to get to work with her there. She touched my heart and my life in a very happy way. She is greatly missed.

I am so sorry for your great, great loss. I count myself blessed to have known her. She was a great friend to my mother and the rest of us. She helped me out by no small means when Dad was in the nursing home and I appreciated it so very much that I can't even find words to express it. I love her dearly. She helped me get through some really rough times and was like a mother to me. It helped me because she was friends with my mother before she died and now they are again together chatting and laughing in Heaven! The miles separated us, but she will always live within my heart--both she and Clarence will. I'm sorry that I because of the distance will not be able to attend the funeral, but I will be there with you in spirit. I didn't know of Katherine's passing so let me now say how sorry I am for your loss of her, too. This has been a rough time for all of you. May God bless you with his love and give you strength always. Love, Grace

To the family of Geri Yock: I have throughly enjoyed caring for her while she resided at the Monticello Nursing and Rehab Center. Her laughs and smiles always made me feel good to be in her company. I will truely miss her as she brought so much joy to everyone around her. She spoke so highly and proudly of her family. My sincere condolences to her family. Tammy Walton

A longtime staff member at Kirkwood myself, I remember Geri for her ever-present smile and her sunny disposition. She was a giving person and a joy to all around her.

To Geri's Family, I did not know Geri well but I know my mother Marie was quite fond of her. Geri visited my mother in her final days and that meant a lot to her and myself. My sympathy to you all.

I was sorry to hear about Geri's death. I worked with her at KCC and my boss was your neighbor Mary Bard Early who also sends her condolences. I remember when Geri had to open up the book store to get our pins for our students pinning. She was a wonderful person
