Gladys J. Burrows, 87, life long resident of Marion, passed away in her home on Saturday January 28, 2012. Services will be held on Thursday February 2, 2012 at 11:00 am at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories, with burial to follow at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Wednesday February 1, 2012 from 4 – 7 pm at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Gladys is survived by daughter; Janet Burrows; 2 granddaughters; Lori Ampey and Lisa (Brad) Schumacher; 3 great grandchildren; Kyle Ampey, Joe and Hayli Schumacher and 1 great-great grandchild Anthony Ampey (Tina Barton). Gladys is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Burrows; parents, 2 brothers John and Bob Hyde; 1 sister; Alice Pieper.

Gladys cherished the time with her family and friends. She was secretary of Marion High School and worked at the Marion Sentinel with boss and longtime friend Bob Lana (Leona).

A special thanks to her two wonderful neighbors and mail carrier.

Services are under the direction of Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
