Memorial

Mary L. Fry, 84, of Cedar Rapids, died at Mercy Medical Center on Friday, January 20, 2012 and is now celebrating her life with Jesus. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories by Pastor Jeff Bell of Westdale Community Church. Interment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel.

Survivors include her husband, Bill; son Wayne (Maureen) Fry of Urbandale; and grandsons, Nathaniel and his fiancé, Kim Freeman, of Kansas City, MO, and Jason Fry of Urbandale. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Everett and Leland Miller.

Mary was born November 28, 1927 in Grundy Center to George and Ella Miller. She married Bill Fry on July 14, 1951 in Cedar Rapids. Mary was an active member of Westdale Community Church and gave countless hours of her time to the church.

Instead of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
