Kevin John Olish, of Iowa City, died at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Sunday, January 8, 2012. A wonderful brother and a rabid Hawkeye fan with an eclectic soul who has gone on to the next plane of existence. He will be missed by his many friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Iowa City. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.

Kevin is survived by his brother, Tim (Carol) Olish of Bloomington, MN and sister, Marie Goldie of Redding, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Kevin was born October 20, 1958 in Cedar Rapids to Frank and Donna Olish. He graduated from Regis High School in Cedar Rapids and attended Mt. Mercy College as well as the University of Iowa. Kevin was employed at the Pioneer Co-op in Iowa City.
