Eugene F. O'Brien

Dear Fran and family, We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Gene was a kind and generous man, and we know he will be missed. We feel badly that we are unable to come to the wake service and funeral. We are celebrating our 45th Wedding Anniversary by going on a Mississipppi Riverboat cruise from Davenport to Dubuque and back, and will leave this afternoon, not returning until Monday night. Again, Fran, our sympathies and blessings to you and your children. Sincerely, Dick & Carol

Fran, Carol, Patty and RuthAnn, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your husband and dad. Gene was an amazing person. I have so many great memories of growing up next door to you all. I will never forget all the picnics we would go on with our families during the summer. He was like a second dad to me. I will also remember all the years that he sang in the choir with my mom. He is together now with Sally and they are both smiling down on us.. I will keep you each in my prayers. Love to all!
