Edwin L. Marx

He was also a wonderful Uncle. He had an infectious smile. I can still see him wiping grease and oil off his hands on an old rag. Always working on cars. I'll miss Uncle Ed. He was a sweet, gentle part of my childhood.

I babysat for Ed and Clara many years ago when the kids were small. Though John was never small, always taller than me. I enjoyed running into them from time to time over the years, what a great couple. My thoughts and Prayers are with you all, God bless.

My condolences to the family and friends of my friend Ed Marx. While it has been many years since I have had any contact with Ed, I certainly have not forgotten him. I thoroughly enjoyed working with him back when we worked together in the Model shop at Collins Radio. Ed was always a hard worker and knew how to get things done. He was an outstanding sheet metal man and was always helpful if one ran into a problem. He shall missed by all. Sincerely Rusty

What a great brother-in-law. So many great memories - stock cars, baseball games and the car he built. I'll always remember his smile and the time he cut my ponytail in half. You will be missed. Jo Ann Harrington, Mesa Az.

When ppl asked why I was going home for a "great-uncle's" funeral, I said exactly this... "Because he was so great to me." No matter how many "great's" someone is, it doesn't matter... My whole life, every time I got to see Uncle Ed and Aunt Clara, it was a blessing. I knew it all along, and now I really know it. Both of them, if they saw me getting upset with someone else, my short fuse, one or both would come up to me, or call me over, and tell me "There's no real reason to let someone upset you. Things in life are not reason to get upset about, but appreciate what you really have...family." He, and Aunt Clara both were the greatest to me, and always will be, no matter how many "great's" there are in how far down the genealogy line you are. Yeah, they are my mom's Aunt and Uncle, so my great-Aunt and great-Uncle, but it doesn't change who they are. Uncle Ed, I will forever miss you and I know you are looking down on me, telling me not to let life upset me. I love y'all.
