Edward Joseph Rehberg

Eddie and I go back a long ways and he will always be remembered fondly.. I used to tell him "in the battle of wits, you're unarmed" but it truth I think it was the other way around. He will be missed greatly!

But I will retain the many fond memories acquired during the many years that I had the privilage to work with Ed, as a vendor and fellow employee. Julie, I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. My thoughts and prayers have been with you and your entire family. Please give your Mom a hug for me. There is an old Eskimo Legend I heard years ago. "When you are looking at the night sky the souls of your lost love ones are shining down upon you." That big bright star at night is now your Dad. Heaven is a better place today because your Dad is there. Love always Joanie & Tim

Dear Rosie and Family - We learned yesterday, December 13, 2010, that our friend Ed had passed away. We knew Ed had not been well for a long period of time, but Ed's passing brings a tug to our hearts and a tear to our eyes. We worked with Ed on "B" Shift at Offutt Weather Central, Omaha, Nebraska, starting in 1954. Ed was instrumental in organizing our first Offutt Weather Central Reunion in Council Bluffs. Rosie, please accept our sincere condolences. We are deeply sorry for your loss. We know Ed is free of pain now and I'm sure he's telling his jokes to all his new friends in heaven.
