Bette Ann (Clark) Gifford 68, of 1624 Miami Drive NE, died Saturday, August 7, 2010. Memorial services will be held at 3 PM Tuesday in Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Rev. John Keizer of the Springville United Methodist Church will officiate. Inurnment in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM Monday at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Survivors include her children, Scott Phelps, Brad Phelps, and Rex Phelps all of Cedar Rapids, and Cynthia Tate of Ava, Missouri, her mother Ruth Clark of Cedar Rapids, sister Marty (Don) Harper of Anamosa, two brothers Marlin Clark of Martelle, Iowa, and Paul Clark of Cedar Rapids, six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father Marvin Clark and her brother Mark Clark.
Bette was born May 17, 1942 in Cedar Rapids. She was employed by Rockwell-Collins for 30 years as a quality inspector.
