My mom, Lena Bruce, lived at Oak Village and became a good friend of Wava. They always enjoyed each other and played lots of cards. Mom moved but she never forgot her best friend Wava. My sisters and I also enjoyed getting to know her over the years. She was a very special lady, and always a smile for us. We will all miss her. We just returned from vacation and saw Wava had passed. We are sorry we missed knowing and being there to acknowledge our condolences. We had many fond memories and there are thousands of patients walking today as a result of the orthotics Wava made for them. She took great pride in her work and will be missed. Our prayers and thoughts are with all of you. Judy and Scott Carnes
