Walter D. Wilson

I enjoyed reading Uncle Walts obituary. I wish I would have been able to get to know him better. In the picture he looks alot like Dad. I apologize for not making it to the funeral but I know Jon will do an awesome job. My heart goes out to all of his family and friends for the loss of a great man. Although I didn't really get a chance to know him my mom has kept me up on the major moments in his life.

Hi Phyllis, I'll always remember Walt playing the harmonica and guitar around the fire when we went camping at Lake Iowa. He was very talented!

Hi Phyllis and Family, Walt was surely a talented and a great guy. He always would mention what a great wife you were Phyllis. Sorry I can't be at the funeral, but I am glad that I got to talk to him on the phone last week at the hospital, he said that he was enjoying the lobster and shrimp supper that Ralph and Colette had brought up. I am also honored that you had asked Jon to officiate at his Uncle Walts funeral.

I remember Uncle Walt as a wonderful artist. He was not afraid to say what was on his mind, which I always admired about him. I'm sorry that I can't make it to the funeral. I would like to express my condolences to all of the family. God Bless You All Sincerely, Rhonda (Wilson) Kochuyt (Arkie's daughter)

I knew Walt from his time as a Winter Texan and valued his friendship. He loved to fish the Gulf. He also painted a sign for me which I still have on my gate.

I will miss Uncle Walt. He told some of the best stories. I enjoyed the time we spent fishing and frogging at Iowa Lake. I am thankful that Michael had an opportunity to meet Walt in Texas. We had so much fun in Port Aransas that Christmas! Do you remember when he got on the stage and sang...
