Janice Jean Grout

In the few short years we have known Jan & Marv, we have shared some incredible memories over miles and miles of travel. Thank God we had the time together because not even Death can erase those wonderful times. Her smile, the sound of her laughter and her quick wit are forever encased in memory. God Bless.

I have fond memories of singing in the choir with Jan at Resurrection Lutheran when Marv and Jan attended there. She was a wonderful musician and a great person. Marv, my condolences to you and your family.

For the Family of Janice: I remember the piano playing in high school, and all the practicing she did for us and getting us ready for the music contests. And the Basketball uniforms - remember those too. Was long time ago, but many good times, Sorry for your loss! Ruth

Jan was in my yoga class., What a strong, limber woman she was. Although I did not know her outside of yoga I always thought: Now there's a woman who has her act together! She and I were born only days apart back in that other century! My kindest thoughts to her family. Carey Gibson

We were shocked and saddened to hear of Jan's passing. When we moved to Cedar Rapids about 2 years ago and started going to St. Andrew, Jan was always a welcoming presence and was one of the reasons we decided to join the congregation. We have recently moved to DC area and want you to know that, even 1000 miles away, our prayers are with you. She has gone to her eternal rest and we will all see her smiling face again someday.
