Our thoughts are with Family the last several days, Paul genuinely enriched our lives. We are saddened with Uncle Pink's passing, we have many great memories of him. In growing up I honestly believed that Uncle Paul's name WAS Pinky. I recall that I thought Grandma Bessie was awesome in naming him that. I recall Uncle Pink was always one to have a joke at hand, usually bad, a warm handshake and laughter in his eyes. When Brit worked at Collins in the 80's it was always Brit, Pinky and Dad (Burton) that would go to lunch together. Danny and I spent countless hours together in the 60's when we lived 3 blocks apart. I remember being "treated" with a single slice of processed cheese and listening far too much to the Alvin and the Chipmunks album and the Snoopy and Red Baron song. I remember Paul was the first person IN THE WORLD (as far as I knew) to own a "Lava Lamp" Back in the good old days that the damn things would actually burn you they got so hot, lessons learned..... In Tennessee it was the dangerous dirt track in the backyard. I recall how funny Uncle Pink looked with his feet in the air above the handlebars riding the "overpowered" 1-1/2 horsepower machine around the backyard to "show how it was done" To Uncle Pink - Thank you, a man's man that I will always remember as carrying true grace and laughter in his heart.

To all of Uncle Pinky's family: You are in my thoughts and prayers. I wish I could be there with you today. I am holding you all in my heart. Your dad always had a twinkle in his eye, a smile, and a joke for everyone. He made me laugh, no matter what was going on around us. I am grateful for his presence in my life, and have many fond memories of him.

My thoughts are with all of Pink's family. I loved him, respected him and truly thought of him as a friend and all around good guy. My best memories are of his jokes and devilish twinkle in his eyes. He was a great guy and it was an honor to have known him. I am really glad I got to see all of you yesterday. Peace be to all of you as you remember him.
