Grandmas are so special. (Especially to granddaughters, I think!) Will be thinking of you in the next days. Keep up that attitude. It's funny tho, the little things that bring the tears. Don't forget to cry! Yvonne

Dear Powers family, I wish to extend my sympathy for Kathryn's death. It was an honor and privilege to take care of your family, especially Jerry and Gordon. The hardest part of retirement was missing all of my patients. Kathryn was a wonderful patient to care for. Sincerely, Dr. Lake

On behalf of my family, thank you to everyone for your kind words and support. My grandmother was blessed to have so many wonderful people in her life. She has been my special angel and continues to be.

Since we do not receive the paper until later, I didn't see the passing of Aunt Kathryn. There are so maany memories of us boys together and Aunt Kathryn always making room for us for those stay overs. I have so many wonderful memories and those can not be taken away.

To my dear Grandmother in heaven above, I will say a prayer for you tonight as I have so many nights before. You have given me a lifetime of treasured childhood memories. And, although sometimes separated and our family broken apart by circumstances beyond our control, through great periods of time and distance we managed to keep our special bond alive. And, that bond will surely live on in my cherished memory of you. God Bless, as I know you have found your place with your savior. With Love & Respect, Mike

Dear Christin and Family - We are so sorry for the loss of your wonderful grandmother. I remember we talked about her a couple weeks ago at a church circle supper; and your description of her reminded me so much of my own favorite grandfather - someone who always smiles deeply when they see you, always has faith in you. I wish we could keep these people all of our lives. All we can do is grieve and pass on their gift to us to someone else. Bless you and your family.
