On behalf of the Kirkwood Community College Pioneers, please accept our most sincere sympathy and condolences. The retirees of Kirkwood remember Frank very fondly. The members will miss him at the breakfast that is held each 2nd Wednesday of the month. Frank was a regular attendee at those breakfasts, he very rarely missed one. The Pioneers extend our most sincere best wishes to Betty and all of her family. Sincerely, Wayne Martin, Kirkwood Pioneers.

I was so sorry to hear of Franks passing. I want you, his family, to know what a tremendous impact he has had on my life. In 1976, I met Mr. Lydic as a prospective student for the COTA program at Kirkwood. He fostered nothing but potential in myself and in my classmates. I have been a COTA for over 30 years and am currently a supervisor over an inpatient therapy program in Johnston Iowa. From day one I have loved what I have done and am here today because Frank saw something in me. Good bless you all. Celebrate his gifts as they live on.
