Mattie Lorena Williams
I lived next door to Mattie for three years back in the early 70's. I could not have had a nicer neighbor! Mattie was always kind to me - a friendly word and a smile was often exchanged. What I remember most about her was how much she loved her family and often spoke to me of her children. My life was enriched by having Mattie as a small part of it.

I just wanted everyone to know that I am thinking of all of you tonight. Mike just called and we will be there tomorrow. Needless to say this is still sinking in and my thoughts are all jumbled up. Out of all my childhood memories, I will remember the love and kindness that your mom showed to everyone. She was always there across the back yard keeping a quiet eye open to make sure we were ok.
