Memorial

Eddice M. Weichman, 97, of Evergreen Estates III, died there Sunday, November 8, 2009. Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel by the Rev. Sonda Kirsteatter of Olivet Presbyterian Church. Interment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 4 – 6 p.m. Tuesday at Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Eleanor Weichman.

Eddice was born in rural Benton County on March 6, 1912. She was a secretary for the Cedar Rapids School Board for many years, retiring in 1974. Eddice was a member of Olivet Presbyterian Church and was a volunteer at St. Luke’s Hospital.
