Dear Family, It was my honor and indeed privilege, to serve as the Chaplain from Hospice and visit Lorena. Even though it was sad some days, to see her health decline, but as we visited each time, her infectious smile and good humor sent the dark thoughts packing. She loved her family. Enjoyed speaking of days past. And shared readily about her faith. As we shared from God's Word, we also sang hymns together and prayed. It is with a sense of peace, I know she with her Lord and safe in His arms. A special blessing to you Suzanne and Patricia and your families and may God's love be with you in His abiding Presence. Rev. Jack Kendall, Chaplain, St.Lukes' Hospice.

To Lorena's family, I knew Lorena through Beta Sigma Phi sorority. That's how I knew Van also. Lorena was always such a pretty woman. I know she was very lonely after Van's death. You have our sympathy on your great loss.-
