Bob, Marlys & Family We are saddened to see the loss of Marcella. Did not know her real well , however time spent with her during the holiday season was enough to know that she enjoyed life and her family.. Memories of the good times will keep her in your heart forever. You will be in our thoughts and prayers as will all of those that she touched in her life. Karen and Don

Sorry to read of Marcie's passing. She was my first manager/boss when I started working in food service. What a sweet lady. In the Spring, I would take rhubarb to school and Marcie would make all the girls pie for lunch. Another memory of Marcie is her in her little sports car zipping around. My sympathies are with you all.

I didn't know Mrs. M. Simmons, but did know her daughter, Marlys (Bob) Herring. Bob was my best friend when I lived in Cedar Rapids some 42 years ago. I remember when Bob was courting Marlys. I remember Marlys zipping around in Red "Tiger V8 Sunbeam" sportscar. Now I know where Marlys got her fine upbringing & zest for living. Her mother was a fine person and shall not be forgotten. When you see Marlys you will see her mother in her. Marlys is a fine person like her mom.

Hello - my prayers are with your family during this time. Marcella was a dear friend of my mom's (Pauline White) when they worked together in the cafeteria at Washington High School. May the many lives she touched with her kindness, be of comfort to you.
