Kristine Diane Roby, 44 of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died at her home on Thursday September 24, 2009.
Memorial services at 9:30 AM on Saturday Oct. 17, 2009 at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories where friends may register after 9:00 AM on Saturday. Rev. David O’Connor of All Saints Catholic Church will officiate. Inurnment at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her son, Edward and his fiancée, Sara Switkowski of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, her father, Edward (Maryna) Roby of Singer Island, Florida, her mother, Diane (Rich) Rezek of Rogers, Arkansas, and sister, Robyn (Duane) McClure of Herndon, Virginia. She also survived by her maternal grandmother, Shirley Mulherin, and paternal grandfather, Oliver Roby, both of Cedar Rapids, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Paulette Roby and maternal grandfather, Harold Mulherin.
Krisi was born on September 15, 1965 in Cedar Rapids. She was the assistant manager of D&B Tile Company for several years where she was well respected and loved by her associates. Krisi greatly anticipated the birth of her first grandchild, Edward Fisher Roby.
