Lois Marie Myers

Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers...Aunt Lois knew how to entertain and was a great asset to her family when event planning/hosting were needed.

We are sorry for your loss. Lois was a great neighbor and has been missed on 27th Street. I always walked away from a chat with her with a smile on my face. Every week when I would get home from traveling for work, she would fill me in on what happened on the street when I was gone. Now I never know what is going on. Lois, talk to the big man up there and get those Cubs to the World Series next year!

Karon, Bill, Dawn, Sheri Lynn, Tracy and families, I'm writing this with a heavy heart and feeling like we have lost a member of our family too. I let the tears fall knowing I am going to truly miss her but then I think about all the years we've had with her and I start to smile. All the wonderful Holidays and just plain family gatherings we've spent with your family. Thanksgivings were my favorite as the nieces and nephews and Chon & I would all go to a movie after the wonderful meal. Good times had by all. We spent more time with all your family than we did with our own at times. I have so many wonderful memories of Lois that I will treasure forever. Our love and sincere condolences to all of you. Though you cannot always see the bird singing, if you listen with your heart, you can always hear his song. Though the ones we love may leave life as we know it, in our memory, the love we knew will always carry on. Hugs, Kim, Kevin, Katie, Kyle and Keevan

I'm so sorry to read about your mom. The first thing I thought of was the late nite cookouts we would have when your Dad got home from his delivery nite job. I remember the day he came home from work and the Kurths had all moved you out and he didn't know it. The day we were moving here your folks came to help and they moved everything out of the house even a can of bacon grease! What fond memories I have of those great people. The last time I saw Lois was in Johnson ave. HY- vee. Frank and I were having something to eat and I called out to her and she came to visit with us. I think that was at least 4 yrs. ago. She didn't remember moving because of the inter state. I don't know if she even knew Frank died Dec. of 06. God Bless all of her family.
