Memorial

Wayne S. Wise, 50, of Hiawatha died Thursday September 17, 2009 after a short battle with cancer. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 PM Tuesday September 22, 2009 at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Wayne’s request was to be cremated. Inurnment will take place at a later date in NE Iowa.

Survivors include his parents Warren and Shirley, a brother Wes, and a niece Katie all of Hiawatha.

Wayne Scott Wise was born March 13, 1959 in Waukon, IA to Warren and Shirley Wise. He worked as a driver for Janda Electric in Cedar Rapids. He graduated from Kennedy High School in 1978.

Wayne had a deep love and respect for the outdoors. He was a skilled archer and enjoyed bow hunting and archery events. He loved to travel on hunting and fishing trips both out west and in Canada.

He was a loving and caring son, brother, and uncle and will be missed by all he knew him.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Lukes Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
