Memorial

Harry F. Lee, 80 of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday September 13th at Living Center East in Cedar Rapids following a brief illness. Memorial service will be held Saturday, September 19, at 3:00 P.M. at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. The Rev Nick Longworth will officiate. Inurnment will be held at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents, Harry C. and Frances Lee; and his wife, Margaret “Maggie” Lee. Survivors include his three children Terry Lee, Julie Lee Sanich, and Jeff Lee, all of Phoenix; his step daughters, Marnee Hamilton (John) of Cedar Rapids and Christy Albaugh, of Houston, TX; a brother Roland Lee of Cedar Rapids; grandsons, Brian Severson (Melissa) and Rodney Schneider, both of Cedar Rapids, Tim Albaugh of Anamosa, and David Albaugh of Anaheim, CA.

Harry F. Lee was born February 3, 1929 in Williamsburg, Iowa. Harry served in the United States Navy during WWII and is listed on the Iowa WWII Honor Roll. His career spanned several years in the plumbing supply business with Dearborn Brass and Plumb Supply. Harry and Maggie also ran their own business, Ye Olde Pub., in Tipton Iowa for a number of years. In his retirement, he worked for St. Luke’s Hospital Valet.
