Zachary A. Taggart, of Jacksonville, FL departed his life unexpectedly, due to complications of Cerebral Palsy, on Thursday, September 10, 2009, at the age of 16. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories, Cedar Rapids. Rev. Ron Lewis will officiate. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18, 2009 from 4:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

Survivors include his mother Stacy (Eddy) Burgin of Jacksonville, FL; sisters Alyson Taggart (Ryan) of Cedar Rapids, and Edie Taggart (Jonny) of Jacksonville, FL; grandparents Joyce Stewart of Vinton, IA, Eva Taggart of Cedar Rapids, and David Stewart of Vinton, IA; plus several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Preceding Zachary in death is a brother Travis Taggart in June of 1989.

Zachary Alan Taggart was born June 20, 1993 in Iowa City, IA. He loved all music, NASCAR, television shows Cops and the Prices Right, and had a wonderful love for his sisters Alyson and Edie.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
