I had not seen Adrian since February 1994. We kept in contact, mostly via the Internet. We were good friends, when we lived in Santa Clarita, California. We had planned to go on a bicycle tour in the Pacific Northwest this year, though he was unable to go along. I had hoped for many years to finally see him again. He even kept in touch when he was in Iraq. I will miss him greatly. I express my deepest sympathies with his fiance, who called me just after he passed. I was unable to call back as soon as I would have liked, to which I apologize.

i served with Adrian in Iraq in 2006-2007. i remember Melsha as being the guy who always had a laugh even in the toughest of situations. his resolve and dedication to doing the right thing made him a man apart from others and he is greatly missed. keep rockin in heaven, brother, and keep a cold one on tap for me
