Maude Ward Carrothers

We were saddened by the news of Maude's passing - what a terrific lady. It sure was a blessing to have been able to see her and everyone else at the reunion a couple of summers ago. Those Ward kids are all so wonderfully unique. Our love to everyone and our sincere condolences on the loss of Maude. While we won't be able to attend the funeral, you all, along with Maude, are in our prayers. Blessings to you all, Tim Gillen (grandson of Vince Ward, Maude's brother), wife Sue, children Ruthy, Tim Jr, and Harry.

Dear Dale and Roberta, I was saddened to learn that you lost your Mom. What a beautiful family she has as her legacy. I sure remember those days on E Avenue NE and 23rd St. I often would play in front of Maude's home. What a great neighborhood we grew up in! My sympathies go out to you all. My Bowman family is all gone now, so cherish all the wonderful memories! Sincerely, Kris (Bowman) Best

Dale and Roberta, My sincerest sympathies on the loss of your mother. What a wonderful person! She had a zest for life that I long admired and was so generous to our family. I am sorry I don't get to see you all anymore but I have treasured memories of our early years. Thanks for being such good relatives and even better friends. Sincere best wishes, Keith

Bert and Phil Saunders, and Marguerite Foster and all your children and grandchildren. I am so sorry to hear of Maude's passing. Oh, what a an Irish blessing she was. It was her laugh that I can still hear roaring in a room full of relatives and cousins that she always cherished. She was a fantastic cook; those pork tenderloins were fabulous. She put her heart and love into her cooking and that is what really made it special. The video tribute was precious and special with each of her family and extended clan of neices and nephews and especially the little children. Maude Carrothers, "Aunt Maude" was a wonderful, wonderful woman and I send my deepest sympathy in her passing. With love, friendship, and support, Nanc Kinley
