E. Cordell Rudin
Please accept my sympathy. We will be in Mpls. the next few days so am unable to attend the services, however, you are in my thoughts and prayers. I saw Cardell just a few weeks ago when George, Jerry and I stopped by to visit him. I have fond memories of working with him at National Oats. Scott E. Seibert

Cordell was a long-time member of the Cedar Rapids Stamp Club. I knew him there as a warm, gentle and very happy man. He was generous with his tools and time always had a nice smile and was happy to be with other collectors, talking about his hobby. His is a sad loss to all of us.

Dear Kathy and Jim – I have fond memories of growing up on Staub Court. Your mom was always singing - she had a beautiful voice and your dad always had a smile on his face. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.

I used to see Cordell at many veteran functions and car swap meets at Hawkeye Downs. One day - he just seemed to disappear. - I think it may have been that his beloved wife had passed away. I never saw him after that - we - the people that knew him - wondered where he was. He was a good soul - and we miss him very much. I wish we could have done more. - He was a pleasant person, and a good friend. Mike Taylor - Cedar Rapids Stamp Club
