Vera Mae Touro

Aunt Vera was a gentle person who always had a smile on her face, which gave me the impression she enjoyed the people she was with, the work she was doing and the life she was living. I sure hope I can still ride an exercise bike in my 90s!

I have known Vera and Reg for a quarter of a century. I worked with them both at Younkers. I cannot think of another couple I respect more. Vera became a personsl friend, as I knew her at Kenwood Park Pres. church as well. They will be remembered with love. Jane Dorsey

What started out as a job for a little extra money turned into a wonderful friendship with Vera. I visited her twice a month for many years but it never seemed like I was going there to work. It was always a peaceful & enjoyable time for me, visting with Vera about her wonderful family & how things were "way back then." If I could have adopted a Grandma, Vera would have been the one. To the family, thank you for allowing me to get the opportunity to know Vera & I hope you will soon have comfort & peace. I am thinking of you all & I will miss her very much. Take Care.
