We are so sorry to hear about John's passing. We loved having him for a neighbor and wish we would have had the chance to introduce him to our daughter Mia. He will be greatly missed! Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Tony & Stacie Cerretti

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. John was a very special friend and church attendee in the years past. My grandchildren always happily greeted him, and he never failed to pull out a piece of candy or bubble gum.

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family today. My mother was a resident of Silver Pines and I remember what joy John had taking pictures of other residents. My mother enjoyed watching John and Dustin play pool there. We are blessed to have known John.

John and Dustin, Please accept our heartfelt sympathy and condolences upon the passing of your father/grandfather! John was a dear friend of our family for many, many years! My dad (Lee Wise) worked & traveled with him during his years at Cherry Burrell. Dad and mom are unable to attend the services as dad recently had surgery and is still in the hospital. Dad was able to visit with John earlier this summer, and is glad he was able to spend time with him. He will be greatly missed! Our thoughts and prayers will continue to be with you in the days ahead! Sincerely, Sharon Wise Zaugg & family Lee and Julie Wise & family

John & Dustin, Your father and grandfather was the most wonderful neighbor a family could have. We enjoyed each and every one of our many visits with him as well as the birthday cakes he made for each daughter's birthday. Our girls absolutely adored him. He truly was an amazing person. We will miss him dearly.

John sometimes attended the Christian Science church, which is where my family met him. He was very kind and helpful to all of us -- always cheerful -- and we remember him fondly.

Thoughts and prayers are with the family - John was a amazing man and someone that I called my grandpa. I live by him for 11 years until I had to move. He always gave me a few dollars for my birthday, made a cake, and gave me all the pop I wanted. I will dearly miss you John
