Richard “Rich” Hronik, 39, passed away, August 4th 2009 at Mercy Medical Center due to complications of his heart. Rich was born September 14, 1969 in Cedar Rapids to Rick and Catherine Hronik.

Rich was best known for living life to its fullest. Rich viewed life as an opportunity; his entrepreneur spirit and his love for his family were his true passions.

Rich could be extravagant, but also had a very simple side. Rich enjoyed spending evenings on the sun porch with his wife Jade talking about the events of the day and the upcoming birth of their second son Kingston.

Rich’s spirit will live on through organ donation.

Survived by his wife Jade-Harper Hronick, son’s Cruz and Kingston, (due to arrive in August), his step children Jazmyn, Jaezen and Jaxson and two daughters Gabby Wright and Marissa Pledge. His father Rick (Naomi )Hronik and Grandfather Joe Hronik all of Cedar Rapids.

Proceeded in death by his mother Catherine Camp, maternal grandparents Thelma Freshour and Robert Houser and Paternal grandmother Gale Hronik.

Per Rich’s wishes a private celebration of life will be held at the family home.

A memorial fund has been established in care of Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
