Clyde C. Tramutolo, 72, of Cedar Rapids, died at Mercy Medical Center, Sunday, August 2, 2009. Celebration of Life Service: 7 p.m. Thursday at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church, 610 – 31st Street SE, Cedar Rapids, by Rev. Mark Kukkonen and Rev. Steven Papnkuk. Inurnment: Davenport Memorial Park, Davenport, Iowa. Arrangements are entrusted to the Cremation Society of Eastern Iowa.

Survivors include his wife, Leona “Lee”; daughter, Ann and her husband, Roy Parker and their daughters, Kayle and Mallory, all of Cedar Rapids. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers; and three sisters.

Clyde was born June 11, 1937 in Phoenix, AZ to Gerado and Mario Tramutolo. They moved to Arvada, CO and graduated from Arvada High School. Clyde entered the US Coast Guard from 1957 to 1977. He married Lee on November 2, 1963 in Bettendorf. He was employed by Hartford Steam Boiler Company, retiring in 1995.

Clyde was a member of the American Legion.

Clyde will be remembered for his story telling and jokes.
