William J. Marker, 53, of 3016 Eastern Ave NE, died Saturday July 18, 2009 in the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy. Graveside Services: 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 3-6 p.m. The Rev. William B. Harnish will officiate.

Survivors include his wife Stella, two sisters, Gloria Meyers of Lutz, Florida and Susan (Norm) Dicks of Holiday, Florida and a nephew, Steele Meyers of Lutz, Florida.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

William was born November 11, 1955 in Chuo Ku, Tokyo Japan, the son of Vincent James Marker and Harue Nakanose. He married Stella McArthur-Neff on July 10, 2001 in Cedar Rapids. William was a master electrician. He was a member of Local Union 405 IBEW, and Eagles Club. He enjoyed traveling and taking cruises.
