Memorial

Keith LeRoy Stolp, 66, of rural Watkins, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2009, in his home following a long illness. Services will be held at 1 PM Saturday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Rev. William Harnish will officiate. Burial with military honors in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 to service time Saturday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories.

Surviving to honor his memory are his wife of 41 years Sharon, three daughters Musetta (Niels) Christensen of Cedar Rapids, Kimberley (James) Berry of Vinton, and Rebecca (Matt) Stolp of Marion, and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Keith was born September 12, 1942 in McComb, Illinois to Luther and Mabel Hitz Stolp. He married Sharon Lacock on November 18, 1967 in Kingston Mines, Illinois. He was a self employed auto mechanic and had farmed in Illinois. He was a peacetime US Air Force Veteran, and loved to fish.

Military honors provided by Marion American Legion Post No 298.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
