Lawrence “Larry” H. Muskat, 77, of 518 31st St SE, died Wednesday June 10, 2009 in the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy. Services: 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Deacon Mike Klappholz will officiate. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call on Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home today from 4-8 p.m. where a vigil service will be held at 7:30 p.m.

Survivors include his wife Deb, his daughter, Kelly Harold of New Carlisle, Ohio, his siblings, Sister Mary Monica Muskat of Campbellsport, Wisconsin, Raymond (Beverly) Muskat of Duluth, Minnesota, Rose (Dave) Marcou of La Crosse, Wisconsin, Zita (Ed) Pretasky of La Crosse, Wisconsin, Kathline (Cal) Grise of Columbia Fall, Montana, his in laws, Donald (Arlene) Graver of Dubuque, Iowa, Sherry Wilson of Wisconsin and Diane Henthorne of Marion. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

His parents, a brother, Joseph Muskat and a sister-in-law, Charlotte De Kayer preceded him in death.

Larry was born March 21, 1932 in Cross Plains, Wisconsin, the son of Roman and Ida Brunner Muskat. He married Deborah Graver on March 11, 1961 in Marion, Iowa. Larry was owner and operator of Muskat Barber Shop for 52 years. He was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, Fleet Reserve Association Branch #216 and a volunteer for ARC. He enjoyed fishing, yard work and birds. He served in the Navy during the Korean War and Navy Reserve for 20 years.
