Cindy and family, I'm so sorry to hear the news about Jan and to be so far away during this sad time. It was almost a year ago that she and Mel stayed at my house after Bryan and Stacie's wedding and couldn't get home because of the flooded roads. I wish I could be with you all now.

What a shock to open the Gazette this morning and see Jan looking at me. I just sent her an email last week. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. to Jan's family, You have no way of knowing me, but Jan's twin sister, Joice and I were best of friends during our High School years in Buffalo Center. I enjoyed many happy visits with the entire family on the farm during those years. I remember very vividly when Janice had her first date with Owen and how giddy and happy she was over him. It was about the same time that her sister began dating LeRoy and both girls eventually married their sweethearts.I don't know the circumstances that resulted in her passing, but we do know that she is at peace with her Heavenly Father and we all look forward to a joyous reunion someday. May God bless her memory to us all.
