Nancy was one of the best managers and friends you could ever ask for. She was so supportive and so much fun. I will always remember the golf outings, baseball outings and manager meetings. I will be unable to attend the services but I hope Tom or Tim tell the story of the time she had to leave a manager HR meeting because she was losing it; busting up laughing. It is my favorite Nancy story. Since I will be out of the country at the time of the services, I plan to have a good Belgium beer in her honor. I know she would have liked that. She was loved and will be greatly missed.

Memories of Nancy clearly reach across the nation! She was one of my first Managers way back when at Teleconnect/MCI/First Data. I truly credit her for having kicked my young Supervisor butt into shape, guiding me and giving me the "tools" I needed for the future. Very few people have the chance to know someone as caring and genuine as Nancy Good. When I heard of her passing, I stopped to take a deep breath and remembered instantly the sound of her voice and her laughter. It's been about 15 years since I talked to Nancy...but it's not possible to ever forget her. To her family, there are no words to make this easier. But you should always know that Nancy was respected by many and loved by even more.

Dear Lori, Diane, Barb, and Greg, I am so sorry to hear about Jo. It's been ages, but I have very fond memories of my friendship with Lori, and playing at your house on Center St. Wherever Lori and I played, all you kids followed, and you were all so sweet and funny. Lori,Diane, Barb & Greg, My thoughts and prayers are with you all on the loss of Jo. She was such a great friend and had such a zest for life. She made high school years the best. I remember a Christmas Dance in the dead of winter senior year at Regis...girls ask the boys. Jo and I and yes legal age said hell no were hittin the Maidrite!! So we hit the road in Jo's little green sports car, damn cold & snowing. I can't remember if the car had no traction or if it was Jo's driving! We lost heat but that did'nt seem to have any side affects and no radio. She did had a couple of spoons so we improvised did alittle tune with the spoons to Brick House! I remember cooking class with Sister C., she loved Jo! I don't think she ever discovered who after our class every week was the one who always threw flour on her habit! Jo could do no wrong in her eyes. I remember the road trips to visit Cathy Lilly & Mary Breitbach at UNI. We had to re-coop a week after them! I remember one day I called her work and asked for Jo Good. She got on the phone and said "Duff, you can't call me Jo here. I go by Nancy, it's professional"! "I said well aren't you wearin big girl panties now!" I can still hear her laugh! She will always be "our Jo".

Nancy was a supervisor, mentor, role model and friend to my son David at Teleconnect. He was 17 and worked part time during his junior and senior years. He was a handful and kept Nancy, Doug Pelland, Julie Pape, Barb Thorpe, Chris Robbins busy. When I decided to rejoin the workforce, I think Nancy had to hire me because Dave bugged her everyday for a week to give me an interview and test. When we met she was professional, friendly and warm. It wasn't long before we were laughing together when she gave up a few funny stories about Dave and his antics that kept the Sup's all busy. I believe he went on to find success at MCI as a Supervisor and trouble/triage engineer because of their patience. She was so much fun to be around, she always put others first. She will be missed by so many. She was a woman of small stature with a big heart. She was a real comfort in times of stress. I was hoping she could beat the illness and grow old with us....it's said, "to live in the hearts of others is not to die". I know Nancy will live eternally in the hearts of her family and many friends. To her family I say, "thank you" for sharing Nancy with us. May God Bless you all with peace and comfort.

It is with a sad heart that I send my condolences to the friends and family of Nancy Good. It's been many years since I last talked with Nancy, but she was and will always be one of my favorite people. We worked together at the FDC Operator Center and she ultimately became my manager. The one thing that will always stick with me about Nancy was her compassion for people. She was an extremely good listener and I always received valuable advice from her whenever I had to take work related or employee issues to her. She was always fair and positive. I was so impressed with how Nancy stepped up and took care of her mother when she first became ill. I remember thinking to myself at the time that when it was time for me to help my ailing parents that I would be able to meet those challenges as graceful as Nancy was able to. The Nancy Good I knew outside of work was fun and full of life. My fondest memories are partying on a number of occasions with Joan, Julie and Jackie and singing to "Wilson Phillips" at the top of our lungs. After reading other guest book entries I know I will not be alone in my thoughts, that Nancy's short life should truly be celebrated. She made a positive impact on so many people. She was priceless!

Dear Lori,Dee,Barb, and Greg, I want to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your sister; our cousin, Jo. I know the closeness and love all of you share with each other; Jo will be greatly missed. The four of us, Angel, Brad, Bryan, and myself share that same closeness. I've tried to call you Lori to express our sympathy for your family, but I can not control my crying...I can't even leave a message so you can understand me. Please know that you are all in our prayers and thoughts during this difficult time. My memory of Jo was that she thought from her heart first; she put her own happiness second over her friends and family. So I beleive she would not like us sobbing; instead she would want all the "Goods" and the "Kellens" to get together and have a beer or maybe several and heal together...Just know that we are here for you,and love you all very much. Destined to reunite, your cousins from California.... Love, Dawn.
